Cliff Thompson Gets Jump on Campaign

WHAT:

Fourth District Supervisorial candidate Cliff Thompson will shift his campaign into gear as he picks up an elections packet, which includes a petition to collect signatures in lieu of the filing fee.  Thompson intends to obtain the 3,000+ required signatures as he travels throughout the entire fourth district, which encompasses every community on the western-end of Kern County from Lost Hills to Frazier Park.

Thompson is planning an honest, but aggressive campaign.  He wants voters to understand how serious he is by being the first candidate to arrive at elections so he can begin the process of gathering signatures on the very first day.

While each community within Kern County's Fourth District is faced with its own unique opportunities and challenges, Cliff Thompson believes there are some issues each community has in common. According to his website, www.thompson4supervisor.com, Thompson highlights roads, air quality and public safety as top priorities for his campaign.
